Zahi H. Ramadan

Assistant Professor of Computer Science

Dr. Zahi Ramadan is an energetic and creative individual with extensive experience in the biomedical and education fields, and demonstrated ability in consulting and training in a multicultural environment. His previous jobs included various academic posts and university startups. He has also developed engineering and computer science courses at the Rafik Hariri University, mainly in

  • Digital signal processing

From 1995-1999, Dr. Ramadan taught technical courses at DeVry University’s Department of Electronics Engineering Technology (EET), Department of Computer Information Systems (CIS), Department of Information Technology (IT). His teaching and development of courses included:

  • Biomedical Signal Processing
  • Head and Spinal Trauma
  • Biomechanics
  • Programming Languages C, C++ (Advanced level)

Research Interests

Dr. Ramadan works on EEG processing and analyses designed to discriminate between normal and dyslexic subjects, with further explorations into artificial intelligence as a way to implement diagnostic procedures.
